The new-and-improved ThinLine Full Sheepskin Trifecta Correction Half Saddle Pad is a low-maintenance pad with superior protection, fit and style. Improved design elements include shorn sheepskin at the spine channel (creating a spine free center band), raised wither profile to accommodate more toplines, a high-quality cotton base with a dense weave and light wool fill, and longer and more durable billet straps. This design also ensures a nonslip saddle fit while helping to minimize excess rider movement. Antifungal and antimicrobial, the pad is low-maintenance, extremely durable and ventilates both heat and moisture. Details Superior Shock Absorption: Pad provides 95 percent shock absorption with minimal bulk. Versatility: To fit under both custom fitted and off the rack saddles. Easy-to-adjust: Pockets for shims allow for minor saddle fitting adjustments. Sizing Small: Will fit most 15.5′′-16.5′′ saddles; total spine length is 20.5′′; length between sheepskin is 15′′; saddle pad measures 16′′ across the seat. Medium: Will fit most 17-17.5' saddles; total spine length is 23'; spine length between sheepskin is 18.25'; saddle pad measures 18' across the seat. Large: Will fit most saddles over 18'; total spine length is 25'; spine length between sheepskin is 19.5'; saddle pad measures 18.5' across the seat. Care Instructions Regular maintenance: Keep pad dry between rides. To dry: place the pad sheepskin side up in a cool, dry place. For humid climates, use a fan to blow over the pad. Once dry, lightly brush sheepskin with a pet brush to keep wool fluffy and resilient for your next ride. Washing and drying:Wash by hand in cold water using only Eucalan Delicate Wash. To use: Fill washbasin (or bathtub) with water, then add Eucalan. Soak saddle pad for an hour, intermittently squeezing soap and water through the pad. For extra dirty saddle pads, repeat this process. Squeeze to remove excess water and lay over a rack or rail to dry with sheepskin facing up. Keep out of the sun, and away from direct heat and dryers. Do not brush or pull sheepskin fibers when wet. To prevent shrinkage, gently stretch the hide while drying. Full Sheepskin Pads may take 2-3 days to dry. Wash shims or inserts separately. To extend washing cycles, you can treat a new or clean/dry pad with Scotch Guard (or similar product).
